Supporting Lifelong Learning

The Friends of the Scottsdale Public Library is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization whose members support Scottsdale's library system through public education, advocacy and fundraising.

Last year, more than 1.5 million people visited a Scottsdale library. While libraries are open to all, regardless of age, education or socio-economic status, they are not free. City funds only cover the basics. Members of The Friends help keep libraries open and operating, providing resources for thousands of people to learn and grow every day.
