Meet the Author: An Evening with Dolan Ellis

Join us for a special Meet the Author event featuring Arizona’s beloved balladeer, Dolan Ellis, as he shares stories from his remarkable life and discusses his newest book, Adventures of a Balladeer.

For decades, Dolan Ellis has helped preserve the spirit and stories of Arizona through music and storytelling. Known for his warm stage presence and deep love of the Southwest, he has spent a lifetime collecting and performing songs that capture the history, culture, and character of the region. His new book reflects on those adventures—offering personal stories, reflections, and moments from a life dedicated to music and storytelling.

This special evening is presented in collaboration with the Scottsdale Historical Society and will feature a discussion with Dolan about his life, his creative journey, and the experiences that inspired Adventures of a Balladeer. Guests will have the opportunity to hear directly from the author and connect with others who share an interest in Arizona history and culture.
